Newbie Hello
Just wanted to extend a gracious hello to everyone from Pennsylvania.
Ive been lurking for a while and finally pulled the trigger on a minty 71 OP date that I am thrilled with (SS silver Stick.) I am a hobbiest vintage collector and tech with a Seiko and Hamilton focus -- but to be honest -- once I cracked the back on the Rolex, marveling at the craftsmanship, many in my collection will now be playing second fiddle. Thanks Everyone,
Sorry no pics -- Im deliberately and disturbingly analog... I do love the watch though, its perfectly executed yet conservative. I swapped in a matte brown croc strap I had on a GP as the USA bracelet was a little to tapered for my taste... I need to get a pressure test and then this might be my new daily for a while. Thanks again for the warm welcome |
