Up for grabs is an early Tudor Submariner

7928 reference

409,XXX serial circa 1963

Excellent vintage condition watch. Very thick lugs with original bevels clearly defined. Lug holes do not appear to have crater effect from polishing. Pointed crown guards are very crisp and defined. Serial and reference numbers are really crisp and fully intact. Winding crown is original/period correct.

Dial is rare and excellent SWISS only gilt chapter ring with silver print. Dial condition is excellent with no spotting, scratching, uneven aging or else. Matching original hands with big bubble second hand.

Bezel insert is excellent fat font with tritium pearl.

Caseback is excellent with crisp factory engraving on back. Still appears to have factory finish on back. Inside is stamped 7928 and ll.63

Bracelet is Rolex C&I Rivet stretch stamped '64 in excellent vintage condition.

Watch currently runs within COSC and winds smoothly. No documented service history.
