Had my DSSD about 6 months now & it's not going anywhere! no way I'd trade it for a Sub or SD4000!!!
But its about what makes you happy & they are all great watches :) |

Thanks for the thoughts, guys. Rolex's line of divers only has true winners... be it a DSSD, a SDc, a Sub date or a Sub, it's all about finding the right one for you, which is what my story in the OP was about. |

Life's too short to not be with your one true love. I just hope you don't start calling Ms. Deep for late nite quickie wrist shots after a night out of drinking with the boys!

I get your mentality. Gotta love the one you're with. For me it is the domed crystal that gets me every time.

At least you now know it wasn't for you, and there's no more wondering to be bothered with.
Besides, the 114060 is one fantastic watch as well!

There's nothing like that peace of mind, Rob. Regardless, both watches are amazing! |

I too regretfully said goodbye to my DSSD recently after sticking it out for a year and finally admitting it was just too big for me.
It was fun while it lasted, but it just wasn't to be. Thanks for the good times, DSSD... |

I remember trying to hook up with a cheap watch I picked up in Chinatown one night and I ended up with a bad case of "ticks"... lol! I guess that's what you get for strapping one on while intoxicated...

That's the great thing about this hobby, there is something that will hit the sweet spot for everyone.
The Sub is and always will be the classic diver. |

You know, that picture of yours was actually one of the photos which made me go for the DSSD in the first place. Alright, it's settled. I blame you for all this! And finding just the one is a lot of fun too, Mike! |
