should I get the milgauss??
I just bought the daytona yesterday and my dealer is tempting me to purchase the milgauss for 8000 dollars. I had already set my mind on the green saphire one (not the watch he is currently selling) but here it is now in my face. Is the only difference the saphire crystal? How much more is it? Should I wait for the green one (could be a long time?)

Another interesting difference is that the green "GV" (Glace Verte) crystal does not have any LEC (Laser Etched Coronet) at 6 o' clock like any other current Rolex watches do. As stated, if you really like the Milgauss GV, better wait for it instead of going for the "ordinary" one you were offered.

I personally would wait for the Green. It's only $375 more than the clear crystal, but much more stunning IMO. The white dial is also a looker IMO, and I like it better than the black dial. (My )

Is 8,000 shekels the list price in Israel? I don't know what the exchange rate is right now but you might be able to get it cheaper ion another country?

Just my Wait !!! I had the same with my Submariner LV and now i just bought it a couple off days ago under the European listprice this will be the same with the Milgauss GV when Rolex will bring more off them on the market. In the Netherlands you see this happen with the white and black dials and the asking price is now going under the listprice this is done by resallers and not when you buy it at the AD they still say they dont get them enough delivered

I know that I can get it at MSRP plus tax but I dont know if that is more than the conversion price or not, and I have seen one at just about every dealer I have been to around here. |

If you have "Set your heart" on the green crystal, then you should wait, you would be forever looking at this one and in your heart think of it as second best against the green crystal.

$8,000 shekel's would be about $2,200 USD. So I think he means $8,000 USD.

I've seen the three versions of the Milgauss in person, and while I didn't understand the hype over the GV having just seen pictures, I TOTALLY understand the hype now that I've seen it in person. It's stunning, and it looks like nothing else being sold. I like the Milgauss Black, I sort of like the white, but the GV is tremendous, if you have a shot to get it then do, don't settle. JMHO

You tell us. Don't mean to sound like a smart a$$ but you are the only one who really knows. Good luck and keep us posted. Congrats on the Daytona.

If you really like the GV then wait for it.
I love the look of the White Face Milgauss personally.
