Rolex "tool watch" ideas
Any cool ideas for new Rolex watches and their potential functions? For example, the Milrad. Can withstand up to 1,000 rads of ionizing radiation. A perfect watch to retain post-nuclear war value haha no but seriously I'd love to hear y'all's ideas on different Rolex possibilities!

Finding a pink gold that wouldn't require extensive disinfecting is just one more challenge. By adding a special blend of copper, the most cleanest of metals, Rolex created a exclusive new alloy. We call it Everclean gold.
With it's tapered lugs, its 31mm smooth, polished case, smooth bezel, and crown guards that protect the watch with no discomfort to the user, the AMII is the most comfortable watch Rolex has ever produced. So no matter how you wear the AM-II, it will always be a perfect fit. Some may call it a fetish. At Rolex, however, the pursuit of excellence is a passion. |

I've always wished that they did a simple 24 hour military style watch. They used to do one I believe int he 30's or 40's- It has so many applications, navigation, railroad, to night shift working. It could be a straight up tool watch like the Explorer 2.

you want a tool watch get a g-shock. Rolexes were used as tools when they were the only watch that could do the job. Not so much the case any more. The newest watch brand that has a cool story is called scurfa. Designed and produced by a saturation diver for saturation divers. Needed a good tool that wasnt expensive so Scurfa was born. You can get them for 200$
"Having first been made for divers and support staff who were left without a watch when the value of their vintage rolex diving watches exploded leaving them the option of a large windfall or too self conscious of wearing such a valuable item in a hostile workplace, Paul Scurfield watch enthusiast and saturation diver tried to fill the void with a few affordable watches built to a high standard using the best materials." scurf.com |

DeskDweller10: Teflon buckle, depth rated for a 10-ft pool or hand washing, red Arabic 5 marker to denote the end of the work day, and Rolex' patented calendar featuring a Friday countdown mechanism.
For those not wearing their watches for extreme land/sea/air applications, it's the watch for most of the rest of us... |

Don't forget the Rolex SafeKing, housed of course in a hermetically-sealed, lead-lined box, with an air-shock mounted pillow, that cannot be opened except in zero-gravity to prevent harm cause by dropping. A tiny, internal gyroscope to keep the watch stable is also incorporated into this magnificent piece, which of course is manually-wound.
