men's oyster perpetual

in regards to a quickset model dated 1990.

does pulling the stem out all the way stop the second hand from ticking ? are there any rolex watches that do that ?

have another question regarding the same watch (early 90's model).

when winding it up is it common for the stem to make a scraping noise ?
(charge the watch per say).
