Why do people keep perpetuating this clap trap?

Interesting. I've been showering with my GMT now for almost 44 years and never had any problem at all. So how many more years do I have before "the heat of the water messes it up"? Years ago a watchmaker told me the best way to keep my watch and band clean is to shower with it every day.

I take my shower with kermit everyday, and swim with it every 2 or 3 days.
The more you will shower with it, the less stretch it will get.

Oh my gosh I can only imagine how 15 years of jacuzzi and sauna 3 times a week messed my watch ...

Patrick Bateman: Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
