Good for you!
Well done Sean on getting your name on the list. So now we know it is £4750. I'm glad you wrote that in big numbers as it is a BIG number.
I'm afraid it's too rich for me but I hope you get one soon and it lives up to the hype. Cheers - Simon |

Even at $7500, I dont know.... Lets just say this will really be good for the hardcore divers that need to dive to 12,000ft. I would rather have a GMT IIC or Sub date.

Thanks Frostie, I saw that price yesterday and I am hoping that it turns out to be incorrect.. but it is starting to look more and more accurate

I spoke to my AD today and I was the first person to call them and request to be on the list. That doens't mean they will give me the first one but I have done enough business wiht them that I hope to be first. Time will tell!

Roles watches have always been pricey but now IMHO getting closer to the ridiculous.Fact that there is little or no difference proportionality between price and quality, with most watches today, you pay for the name. And what a name lets be honest here Rolex is the most recognised name in this watch world today. And thats whats made Rolex today, a good product very very clever marketing by Hans over the many years. But today the value of a commodity like a watch is only in what the market will bare.

I called my AD about 20 mins ago to get on the list for the SDDS, she said she will make a few phone calls to find out the U.S. MSRP.

I will never spend that much money on a watch that is really unpractical for me, not to mention the fact that it is probably totally uncomfortable.

Now why do I think that's one of the most sensible statements made to date on the new SD!!

I live on a stainless steel budget - for me everything has a price point. I wrote down on paper the price that I am willing to pay for the Sea Dweller Deepsea. If the price of the SDDS exceeds that amount, then there are other watches that I am also interested in that cost much less.

I'm actually kind of surprised the DS doesn,t cost more considering all of the new production involved such as tool and die, overall manufacturering, etc.
Furthermore if I was spending serious time in the water, the DS would be my choice. |

I'm no 1 and No5 on separate lists.
I'm hoping that the market version doesn't have the extra engraved wording. Oh well if I don't like it, I can offer my chance to anybody here who wants one. I can also confirm...£4750 (minimum) J |

$9,500 is all good considering the research and technical work that had to go into something with that kind of depth rating...I was expecting $10K+ when I read the specs.
I'll buy one. |

Not to offend, but holy S***! That's a tad rich for me for a SS watch. At that price, I'd want an original Bluesy TT, and maybe even a SS Daytona.
Add your taxes and no discount and expect to pay about 10K for a SS diving watch....I dunno. C |
