Rolex YM royal blue vs. cobalt blue

I just snatched a photo of the two blue YM colors out there when I visited an AD today. They are pretty close in color but the cobalt one is a bit lighter and not so warm blue as the royal blue color on my gold YM...

Maybe a slight difference but the YM blue with a dash of red is just wonderful.

I too love the red second hand! If I were buying, the blue with the red is the one I would choose.

Both very nice! They look the same to me, the red hand makes the difference.

Silver and Blue looks so much better than the gold and blue. The reason is that the silver tone brings the blue out and it reflects the blue. I honestly didn't notice the second hand till people mentioned it. I agree the red hand does look better too.

I was I had had better light when taking the pic so the color difference would be more noticeable. The 116622 has a clearer, crisper and cooler blue in real life...

Would love to see the solid yellow gold YM come back. Or solid platinum, that would rock!

I think there is a white dial version of the 16628 also, yes?

Couldn't find any info on that. That would be mega-cool if there was one!
