First Vintage Rolex

Hi All,

I recently came across a vintage two tone Air-King at a local market. Honestly, I was not in the market for a vintage Rolex watch right up to this point. However, ever since this encounter, it keeps coming up in my thoughts. I don't know what it was exactly, but it left a lasting impression on me, and I am now considering to make the purchase of my first vintage Rolex watch!

As a newcomer in the world of vintage Rolex, I was hoping to educate myself on this particular model's fair market value, value retention/appreciation prospect, and collectability before moving ahead. I had almost made the purchase on the spot on impulse but wanted to gather some information and opinions from the experts here as well! With that, any feedback and comment about the piece would be appreciated. Many thanks.
