5 days + 5 hours (125hs.) report: 17secs. that's 3.2 secs/day.
16800, 1985 Sub. Never serviced. Never opened. Used every day since day1. Left face up at night. Still within COSC specs.
Not bad for watch worn for about 8400 days now!

After 5 days my Explorer II lost about 5 seconds which is 1 second each day.

After the same amount of time, my GMT lost about 13 seconds which is a little over 2 seconds lost each day.

Both my Rolexes run a few seconds slow rather than fast...

A. My 5 day results (Part 1):

Model: Explorer II (16570)

Year or Series: 2001

Last Service: None

Worn at night: No

5 day accuracy: -5 seconds

B. My 5 day results (Part 2):

Model: GMT Master 1 (1675)

Year or Series: 1978

Last Service: 2004

Worn at night: No

5 day accuracy: -13 seconds

Nice after all that time but time for a service?

GMT II 116713 Results

Since I won't be on at 22:40 tonight, I figured I would post my results 2 hrs and 40 minutes early.

GMT II 116713. Purchased on 2/28. Wear the watch 24/7 (even at gym).

5 day results: -5 seconds total. That is -1 second/day.

I sure can live with these results.

After 4 days my Z series SD gained +15 or +3.75/day. Not too bad but could be better.

After my LV losing 5 seconds in the above time period I have worn it almost continuously to see what would happen, I am now at -6 seconds.

I guess I have to agree that a Rolex would rather be worn than in a drawer or safe, and at least on this one the accuracy reflects that.

After five days of doing nothing different, wear it all day, take it off and set it on dresser, repeat. My watch is at minus 1 seconds. I am very impressed.

1997 President still in spec!

I am +6 since the start. I wear it 16 hours per day and in winder for 8.
Day and date still snap over promptly at 12:00:19 every night.
Will there be a master tally at the end with model/year and result?
