GMT-C and Jubilee Bracelet question

I was curious. The old 16710 GMT's could be purchased with either and Oyster or a Jubilee bracelet. Today i know that one can't buy a GMT with the new super jubilee bracelet but can you put one on yourself? I wonder why they don't offer it as an option today....its a great look.

I guess you could purchase a 63600 bracelet separately from an AD since the lug width is 20mm but I'm guessing the endlinks would not fit properly.

SJ Fits Apparently

I've asked my AD if he can order me one for my new BLNR (pics to follow) as I like the look which is a blend of vintage and modern GMT.

The pics and comments from owners who have done this don't talk about the bracelet not fitting, so I'm hopeful it's not an issue...

From this thread, looks like it is confirmed that the bracelet will sit lower than the lugs. OP says it's not a big deal to him. I'm guessing it's a mm or two. Cool look though. Good luck!
