Hulk Submarnier v GMT BLNR
Good afternoon,
I promise this is the last of my, which should I get first before I finally pull the trigger. It's going to be my only watch. I've gone though just about all of them now and whittled it down to these two. The hulk was love at first sight, it's fought off all the other watches I've looked at up until today. I finally found a BLNR to try on. Now I'm not sure. What is everyone's opinion one these two, it'll be my daily watch, and I want it to hold its value over the next few years as best as possible |

I prefer Subs, but I think the BLNR will be more versatile as the only one.

My honest opinion is don't buy either...yet. I don't think you're ready. Look, members are going to come on here and recommend one or the other depending on which one they own or like better. What does that have to do with you? It just sounds like right now no matter which one you get you'll have second thoughts.
You need to figure out which one you like...for sure. Unless of course the money isn't a factor, in which case buy both and problem solved.

Both of course would be best. But if only one, I would get the Sub.

well you want the hulk, thats for sure. If you buy the blnr its not going to be your only watch. Your still going to want the hulk and eventually get one. I do have the hulk and really enjoy it.

I have both and if one had to go it would be the BLNR. They're both awesome watches but the Glidelock makes the Sub a lot more comfortable.
As has been said above though, it's going to be your watch and it is going to have to cater to your needs and meet your demands. Do you travel overseas with any frequency? If so, the GMT function might be more appropriate to what you want/need. What do you do for a living? The polished centre links of the BLNR might take a beating as a daily wear, depending on what it is you do. I think Mr. Ferguson has a point and you might be better sitting on your bank balance for a while to allow you to think things through. Good luck whatever you choose and be sure to post some pictures.

All stainless steel sports models hold their value. Anyhow, would you rather wear the watch that you love, or the one that "holds" a little more value?

I think Subs are better, but the BLNR would be more versatile than the HULK.
I would go with the sub since that's was what you had your eyes on orginally. BUT you travel a lot the BLNR is a no brainer. Both are great watches! |

I did eventually wind up with both, a Sub and a GMT. From a practical standpoint if you travel then get the GMT, if you dive, the Sub.
I travel so getting the GMT first was a no brainer for me. I bought it and used it the very next day on a trip to another time zone. I bought a TT Sub strictly for its looks. Take your time, think about it and pull the trigger. Either way, you'll have a winner.

Two excellent choices. These two are probably the best pair of stainless steel sport watches currently available from Rolex. In terms of an all around watch, I would give the nod to the BLNR. However, based on what you said about love at first site for the LV, you may already have your answer there. For me, I would get the BLNR. My BLNR and LV say hello.

Watch for watch, neck to neck being indifferent.
As a man usually wears blue, black, whites and darker neutral colours. The BLNR with be easier to better blend in. Not every day is St Paddys

1 watch probably the BLNR, more versatile in terms of matching to different clothing.

As a daily watch, go with the BLNR.
Then you can switch to Nato strap during the weekends.. |

I have both. I purchased the Hulk first and then the BLNR. I prefer the bracelet on the Sub over the GMT because of the PCL's and adjustment. IMHO the sub is the perfect watch and the Hulk is my favorite and worn the most in my collection.

Hulk Submarnier v GMT BLNR
Look no one is saying its an easy decision. Hulk is the watch to set you off from others and it take b@lls to rock a green watch. I love mine and do not listen to others that say mismatch with clothing. I'm in finance, in a suite every day and I rock it more than I rock my diamond dial DJ. With this being said, this doesn't mean I do not fancy the BLNR. It is my next watch on the list. Still searching for a great bargain. Good luck. Buy what you want. Buy what your heart aches for. never buy what others say you should.

Both are great. I wind up with both too. I love hulk long long time. But purchase Blnr first. I am glad i did that. While hulk is very2 nice looking watch, if it will be your only watch i would recommend you get Blnr first. I love green but for daily watch i would go black over green.
