I love this reference but don't know a whole lot about them. I can say that the dial is one of the cleaner ones that I've seen.

Thanks for the replies.
Seattleal, great looking watch and it looks is similar . Do you have a close up shot of the rating/submariner? I've checked with the archive references.. there's something about the rating and 'submariner'.. the 'S' looks very different from pictures I've seen of the 6536-1. And the rating should be in silver or red? I'm not sure if I'm on the right track. |

Mine is from 66. In 66 both Submariner and depth were gilt.
