Daytona error dial

It seems some White dialed SS 116520 Daytona's have an error in the font layout of COSMOGR APH VS COSMOGRAPH. Recent models appear to have resolved the issue. Any thoughts, will those "error dialed" ones become less or more collectable?

Pictures would help get some replys I think. Without seeing it, I'm sure there will be someone 20 years from now that would pay more $$ for an error dial.

Looks like I have the gap between the R and A as well.

An image from watchrecon without the gap:

I noticed that , didn't want to point it out in case it induces dial ocd. Mine has the gap as well, I never noticed it until it was pointed out.

Yeah, I noticed this the first day I had my Daytona. I'm pretty sure the "aph" is a smaller type size than the "cosmogr" too. Bothered me until I saw that all of yours were the same!

Not much of an error for mine....... putting it on upside down or missing the word now that would be an error.

Would really call it an error more like a variation in dial printing.

The spacing is not exclusive to the white dial SS Daytona a quick look over my pics sees it also on a Plat Daytona I tried on last year

Without wanting to ridicule the OP I really don't understand all those collectability rubbish!

Firstly it's just a dial variation on a mass produced item.

Just enjoy your watch

In the near future, I can see a flood of these, "Lesser" Daytona's hitting the second hand market.

Padi, you always seem to bring negative comments to anyone discussing a topic you don't like. No one is using high-powered lenses to capture their photos here, so maybe you could stop with the insults.

This is quite true people should be able to have conversations on topics that are important to them and have a laugh and joke we are a community of fans mostly who are positive and want to know more

Good eye Bill!! I didn't think my was pronounced enough and if that is all it is, I would really even question calling it an "error" cause to me it is just fine

I have the "error" dial. Doesn't bother me at all, and I don't think it will make the watch more collectable at all.

Its not a insult its a fact and some of those pictures are highly magnified, the fact is there have been hundreds possibly thousands of tiny font changes over the past 50 odd years.

Thanks for the advice, however I do enjoy my watch. I was asking so as to see how common was the "error" . Stamps are mass produced but errors in printing add to collectability.

I'm wondering if the font was changed to accommodate the position of the Sweeping second hand at rest , at 12 . Always enjoy your views . I don't always agree but they are usually insightful.
