Tudor 1080 shock system help
This is a really long story, but I need some advice. I have a Tudor cal 1080 needing a new hair spring. Well, cal 1080 parts are hard to find but I think I found a source. My watchmaker is looking too but I want to make sure this is what I need. I purchased a balance already for it, but darn it if it wasn't an incabloc.
The movement below has a KIF flector Shock system, at least I believe. So if I order the part listed in the last line of the second pic under "Rolex" I should be good to go right? What I'm asking is this: Does the KIF version matter or is KIF just KIF? Or, do I need one of the ETA parts? Thanks for having a look see.
