Che Guevarra
I recently saw a picture of Che Guevarra wearing a SS Submariner in a special edition watch magazine dedicate to Rolex.
The article described Che Guevarra wearing a SS Submariner during his Guerrilla fighting days. Can you believe that such a symbol of capitalism was worn on the wrist of this great anti-capitalist. I guess that quality is appreciated and recognized regardless of political convictions.

Typical politician, say one thing, do another.
Look at Elliot Spitzer, in the past he was responsible for shutting down the previous prostitution ring his own hooker used to be employed in. But when Client #9 needed some *SERVICES*, he had no problem utilizing them, even though he shut down a few in the past. |

Osama also wears an American BDU field jacket, Made in USA.
Shoes are probably Chinese, though. You have to remember that in Che's day a Sub or GMT was simply a rugged, reliable watch. It was not excessively expensive. He did not have the option of a quartz or g-shock. |

I like the video of Musawi wearing brand name American sneakers. And how about when Saddam's some were found loading a BILLION dollars on a truck? It was all AMERICAN money! So much for hating us, they need us!

Yup, as stated he wore a GMT. The pic in question is in black and white and also not showing the watch bezel too well. This could make the Rolex appear being a Sub.

Dr. Ernesto Rafael Guevara De la Serna
14 June 1928 - 9 October 1967 Maybe some would think that he was politically misquided, but to me because I was born in the cradle of democracy (Greece) and because I live in the center of democracy (USA) I accept his views as valid for him, I disagree with them, but that does no make "Che" any less patriotic than I am. Any man that read Nehru, Camus, Sartre & Aristotle along with examining Bertrand Russell on love and patriotism, Jack London on society and Nietzsche on the idea of death as well as having a tremendous passion for poetry by Neruda, Keats, Lorca and Whitman, clearly is a man of quality. Was he wrong to try and overthrow dictator Fulgencio Batista..? You tell me ! He had an excellent taste in Cigars and Swiss watches ! ...like me so to speak...lol |

From what I heard Che stole it .....
From what I heard Che stole it from some one they killed, just as many of the people in Cuba were robbed of their businesses and belongings. I prefer to earn what I own.
I know one of the Special Forces Guys that trained the Bolivian Army Troops that caught and killed Che. He actually sort of admired him in a strange way but not for his politics or thievery. He gave me a copy of Che's Reminiscences and the Bolivian Diaries which are an interesting read. |

Thank you! I love seeing these 'hipsters' that invaded and took over Williamsburg in Brooklyn proudly wearing their Che t shirts cause it's the cool thing to do. Meanwhile they probably don't realize he killed hundreds of people. OT, but these hipsters scoot into a previously bad neighborhood, make it 'cool', jack up the rent cause a good portion of them are out of towner transplant trust fund babies with mommy and daddy sending rent $ every month, then the old tenants are forced to move out. Harlem, Washington Heights, Bed Stuy, Williamsburg, Red Hook, Ft. Greene, Bushwick, etc. Gentrification is not a bad thing, but when these guys walk around all smug like they own the place I wouldn't mind knocking a few on their asses. Sorry bout the rant

With All Due Respect
That's the thing about these communist pigs. They are murderers and terrorists. And, according to TempoKing, some of 'em read books, for chrissake!
Not like our guys, who have gone on record as saying that they have authorized kidnapping, torture and murder. They are also on record as saying they don't read books. Right on! Trurolexer needs to start a new poll: Are TRF-ers politcally Rightwing and Conservative, Leftwing and Liberal, or No wing and Moderate. Quote:
