FS: Rolex Date ref. 1500 Tropical Gilt Dial

Up for sale is a fine example of the classic ref. 1500 Rolex Date (958xxx Serial #) in good condition with a gorgeous tropical brown dial.

Details:

Dial: The original gilt dial has turned to a stunning dark brown color. There is some peeling on the dial -- mainly around the center post and outer edge areas. The shade of the stunning chocolate brown dial changes depending on lighting conditions.

Case: Stainless steel case is in good condition with no major scratches or dents. Reference and serial numbers are clearly visible between the lugs.

Strap: The watch comes fitted on a brown hand stitched leather strap that compliments the overall look of the watch.

Additional: The watch currently runs but service history is unknown. No other accessories are included.

Asking $3,450 by wire (or check deposited to my account) shipped and insured within the US or face to face in the Los Angeles area. International shipping available at an additional cost.

Returns only accepted within 3 days of receipt if item is not as described and is returned in the same exact condition as it was originally sold. Refunds will be considered upon a full inspection and will amount to the purchase price minus shipping and handling costs. Buyer is responsible for the return postage, insurance, and safe delivery of the watch back to me. Due to the complexity of shipping to the US from abroad, all international sales are final.
