Purchasing a Ladies DJ for my fiancée... eBay?

So my FI and I are exchanging wedding gifts in a month... She bought me my first Rolex, a SS Submariner w/date from an AD before the price increase a few months ago...

While I promised not to buy her anything (the rings were supposed to be enough), I wanted to suprise her with a watch...

This is the watch I want to get her:
Ladies Datejust with silver diamond dial. Jubilee bracelet. Either a Z or M serial number (I like the etched bezel)



Anyhow, the MSRP of the watch is $7650... A few of my local AD's have offered to sell it for $6800...

I have found 2 sellers on eBay, generalwar and als u$aveontime who are both selling the identical watch, for circa $6k. I've contacted both, and both have responded back quickly, and have excellent feedback.


Just wanted to see if any TRF member's have experience with either seller, and if you think $6k is the best that I can do for that watch in new condition...

Both of them are well known E-Bay sellers and legitimate. As far as their pricing someone else will have to chime in. You may also try www.alanfurman.com and www.swissluxury.com or www.steindiamonds.com. These are all gray market dealers that have good reputations. Though, after looking them up, the ones on E-Bay are less expensive. The ones on E-Bay may be a good deal after all.
