..or not.

Attempted to capture the 8 beats per second on my SD4K. One of the photos I took made it appear like a PM piece. Kind of interesting, I hadn't thought of the proposition..

I wonder what the crush depth would be on a gold SD? I wouldn't think you'd be able to get 1200 meters in the same proportions.

That's a good point. I don't know how well gold would stand up at those depths!
