Reflection

Aloha members,
Just kicking back on the lanai, sun shining bright and I noticed that my Sub's reflection on the railing. You can almost see the hands and markers as well. Thought I would share. The Simple things make me happy in life!
Aloha from Kauai.
Tom

I don't think the effectiveness of the AR coating on the cyclops can ever be disputed.

I don't think it applies here. The Cyclops is a lens, whereas the sapphire is a flat surface. Light reflecting through the lens will disperse and that region of the reflected image will appear darker.

Also, the AR coating is between the lens and the sapphire. Light reflecting off the outer surface wouldn't be affected by the AR coating.

You are right about the clarity when viewing the date. It's much sharper.
