Dive extension stuck on 93150 Bracelet

Is there a trick to releasing the dive extension on the 93150 bracelet clasp?

I need to adjust the micro adjust smaller and I can't get the extension to release from the clasp so I can move it forward a notch..

There is a trick depending on what year your 93150 is from. If it is a new one, there is a little 'locking' mechanism that will release if you depress the small etched circle on the link closer to the midcase. Any chance your bracelet looks like this??

No, it's the older version than that..

No circle and thin stamped hinged pieces instead of links.

It kind of wedges into the clasp. If the clasp edges get bent it can trap it. Maybe go visit a Rolex AD and they can free it for you. It would be a shame to distort or crease the clasp trying to free it.

Gently use a flat head screwdriver between the buckle and the extension and pry it out. Key word is gently, perhaps wrap the tip in electrical tape to insure no scratching.

I had a bar break on one of mine. It's almost certainly like the type you have Fleetlord. It's a really crappy design and almost useless as a divers extension anyway. The old Zeniths and Eternas had a much better system. They basically had glidelock without the lock 40 years before Rolex!

Isn't that a 93250 with the "secret button" dive extension?
