ADs in HK

Say, I've got a friend who's going to Hong Kong, and she asked me if I know of any good ADs there - I've already recommended against non-authorised dealers.

Also, for a Lady DJ, she should be able to get at least a 15% discount, right?

I went to Hong Kong in 1996, just before it went back to Chinese control. From what I remember, which is very vague, the prices were not much less than elswhere in the world. 15% discount would be about right.

I understand the price has to do with the currency fluctuations if, you can catch it in the right swing you save and I have heard in the past that the 15% is...... (normal?)

Earl is right.
I got my YM about 6 months ago from a dealer in HK.
With the weak dollar...it was a steal!!!

Thanks, guys, but what I was really asking was if anybody knew which HK dealers took the most off their sticker prices.

For example, in Singapore, the bastards at the Hour Glass won't budge an inch off MSRP and end up ripping off the tourists who go there, having heard that Singapore gives good prices. On the other hand, other ADs like the Watch Palace are pretty accommodating with their prices.

Yeah, funny that I'm asking the question from Australia, isn't it?
