Sell the Hulk for DSSD-Blue?
Title says it all. I've been rapidly "transitioning" to larger watches. PO, Breitling Airborne (44) etc. I've owned the DSSD before but thought it too thick but now rekindling my love for a tad bigger pieces. I plan on going to the AD soon but does anyone know the thickness of the DSSD vs the 8500 (45mm) PO? Thanks all!

I have a feeling you'd end back with either your hulk or another sub-c. Reason? You already owned the watch and thought it was too thick. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, but just be prepared.

Another reason, is that since you've recently been moving towards bigger watches, you might still want to have one option that's a little smaller, and really as you know, the sub-c at 40mm wears more like a 41 or even 42mm!

I am absolutely in love with the d-blue though so either way I don't think you can lose!

DSSD - 17.7mm
PO 45 - 16.5mm

If you find big watches attracted, I would think 42 Explorer is better option from Hulk.

Go for it as it is not that different in thickness than the PO and the DSSD looks great.

Sure, why not. Easy to get another LV if you change your mind. Both are amazing and I could be happy with either one on its own.

I wouldn't. With Rolex I love, I'll save for the next one. For LV, who knows when Rolex will decide to put it off for production. If they do, price go up, hard to get one. Then you will be regret flipping. LV really doesn't feel like type of watch Rolex will run forever.

Definitely flip the Hulk for the D Blue mate - I've owned and flipped the DSSD 3 times since 2008 and picked up a D Blue last year...that baby's a keeper!

I would keep the Hulk and move some of the other watches and purchase the DSSD. If you would get the black dial version instead of the blue you could save thousands on the same watch. The Hulk is great.

No wrong answer either way but for you, flipping the hulk is right. I couldn't pull off deep blue due to thickness of the watch. I will gladly take your hulk!

Yep! I have one I've never worn. I was thinking the other day I'd really like to start wearing it. Originally, I didn't because it's brand new with the stickers and I didn't feel like pulling the stickers off and I bought three other watches at the same time so I had choices. When I got it back out and looked at it seemed way too thick and I i have an Omega PO 600m I wear a lot on the weekends. Like in the pictures here the DSSD-blue looks like a brick. I put it away. It still hasn't been sized. I'd get the SD 4k if you want to switch. I think it always looks great in pics. Otherwise, I'd keep the HULK.

Yes...the DSSD is a large watch that wears larger than its size due to the thickness/height in the wrist. I have a larger wrist and find it to be a great sporty watch

I enjoy wearing my DSSD more than the Sub
Love the way the DSSD feels and looks on the wrist
Only thing I like better about the Sub is that it's lighter
