A trip to Baselworld was a bucket list item for me and this year I was fortunate enough to make that happen. A couple of friends and I made the trip this month to check out the new releases and meet up with some awesome people along the way.

I've arrived!

Straight to the Rolex booth to check out the new releases!

Met up with some Instagram friends @Rolexdiver, @GiorgiaMondani, and Everest Bands

Met up with @Soalfb from The Horobox

Eventually, my friends and I decided to take a break from Baselworld and check out Lucerne. We stopped by every single watch store before stumbling into Bucherer to check out some Rolexes.

Wandering through the store I kept an eye out for the one that got away. A watch I owned too briefly to enjoy. One that I have missed ever since I traded it about a year ago. I searched the first floor Rolex section and it was no where to be found. Eventually, we stumbled to the second floor and realized there was another Rolex section just as big as the one downstairs. Again, I looked through all the displays and it was no where to be found. I asked the sales rep if they had the model I was looking for and she said "We may have one in the safe".

After a short pause, she comes back with a brand new watch sealed in one of those small Rolex plastic boxes. I hesitated at first because I had no plans on buying a watch during this trip, so I took some time to think about it during lunch. Eventually, I decided that I had to have it. I ran straight back to Bucherer after lunch and pulled the trigger! So without further ado, here is my brand new (for the second time

) BLNR!

This trip will always be a special one for me. It was my first time visiting Switzerland, I crossed off a bucket list item by going to Baselworld, I met some wonderful people and made some new friends from around the world, and I commemorated the trip by picking up a BLNR. This BLNR is going to be sentimental to me and it's already creating a memorable story of its own

Great report, cool photos, & absolutely beautiful watches. Thanks for the lovely Lucerne scenery, too. And, wow, what a great place from which to purchase a Rolex. Really beautiful architecture on that Bucherer building! Congrats on the BLNR, you're going to have some really fond memories associated with its purchase. And seriously, how can you top acquiring a Rolex in Switzerland?
