This may be the most worn after several years.

Like Mike's mine do have marks, more on the north side, but in most pics they are shielded from view.

Look as new fellas - does the all gold band help hide marks to the pcl's like some sort of optical illusion? I am expecting mine to pick up lots of scratches! Is the gold tougher than I imagine?

Ive hac my 116613lb (TT Blue with SS and YG bracelet) for 3 months and it does acquire a lot of scratches. I have bothing major but all the links are covered in surface hairline scratches. Seems pretty inevitable because I wear it everyday. Very hard to capture in pics though.

Hi,

Sadly, I don't have any "before" photos to share. But like others have mentioned, it's more the case that a fine layer of hairline scratches tend to build up, rather than it being glaringly obvious. The scratches are there if you're really looking for them, but from a distance and in most photos, you won't even notice them. On a full 18K watch you'll also get more dings and marks than you might on stainless or Rolesor, but again it's not especially troublesome.

One thing I can say with certainty is that when your watch comes back from being serviced, no matter what it's made of, it will look as good as new.

I do not consider any of the above examples "well warn " they look new to me.
When they get 5-10 years of daily wear they still look good, just dull in sheen

The folded link bracelet from my 1972 Rolex "Root Beer" GMT 1675:

Wear and tear is most noticeable on the inside of the bracelet:

And on the wrist:
