If you've been waiting for years for a SS Daytona you have bigger problems.

New watch, new list. I'm going to my AD this weekend.

You guys aren't looking hard enough. Plenty original SS Daytonas around if you just call a few stores.

There will definitely be a list for the DC's though... Until people wake up or wise up!

Ooooh, shiny! Must have!
this is true indeed.

I've walked into a few and there are plenty of SS models (subs, hulk, BLNR, and daytonas) to go around.

I asked 3 times at two different AD's. They had them in the back.

I was with ya! I even started singing the song... I've got a Golden Ticket...

I'm curious to see how this turns out, either totally scarce or the exact opposite and Rolex supplies much more than anyone would guess..

It's the same game that Rolex has been played for the last 20 years. They will not be scarce just like the 116520 isn't scarce. How many TRF members own one...thousands.

If they start again I'm top of the new list, if not, I'm 4 years down on the old list. He also said goldsmiths as a national company will receive just 25 of the new 116500 (black or white) in the first 12 months and Middlesbrough branch will be lucky to even get 1 before Christmas 2017!!!!!!
Hi Gary,

I wouldn't take to much notice of what your GoldsmithAd is telling you, keeping you waiting four years for a 116520 is BS,I have two very good friends who work for Goldsmith group and one who manages a WOS, he struggles to get new models as he said they push everything through the big London stores, he doesn't get hung up over just one watch (116500) They have multiple brands with dozens of models, so much so the Rolex DAytona SS, hardly makes him any money, currently gets 6 a year x 8k is only 48k PA, he wastes too much time talking with clients about the watch he can't sell them, he sold four 18k ROlex last month and lots of other watches that's were the money for a dealer is ,Don't believe they are getting 25 either because they won't know, at Basel they was asked to place orders for stock for 12 months in advance,He said that way you are guaranteed the stock but it didn't include the professional models, they will be offered with your monthly allocation as Rolex UK seam fit,He also said and used a 40mm pm Dj as a example, we pre ordered 3 ,if we sell them and ask for more we may or may not get them priority will given to those who bid for them at Basel, he pre ordered 80 watches from this years new Rolex models, not including professional range, they are at Rolex discretion

I have just plunked my name in the list, AD didn't give me an exact delivery date but they said me no earlier than August maximum 8 months. The sooner the order the earlier you get

I jst visited the AD here in Dubai and I was told that both the Daytona C and new Air King would be available in August.

You can put your name down for the Daytona. Price is 12.6k $, no discount.

Air King is quoted at 6.3k $ but Im pretty sure normal discounts will apply.

If the Daytona C was readily available would as many people want one? I wonder if the hunt for discontinued versions would suddenly increase... Be interesting if in a few years they increase the dial size too, then will everyone be flipping for that new version? Where does it end... Probably never as Rolex don't want you to stop buying watches...
