Here's hoping for swift justice. And that the guard is ok.

Always good to rattle up the bourgeoisie on a regular basis, provided noone gets hurt. I often wonder whether these watch robberies are staged by the shop owners themselves to move stock out the door at full MSRP.

All merchandise at retail jewelry stores are insured at wholesale cost. That is what insurance companies pay after they and the PD have done their full investigations to insure there was no questionable involvement on the part of the store owners.

Frightening, been in those stores a couple of times. Fingers crossed these blokes get what's coming to them.

That's crazy, I was just there this past weekend. Can't imagine that happening, they must have had it well planned.

Whoa that's crazy! I was just in there January. I hope they are caught and everyone will be ok.
Is it crap like this stupid music video out about gold Rolexes that helps feed the want to rob Rolex stores :/

I saw a clip of a music video on Instagram just yesterday and regrettably looked on YouTube to watch the whole video. One of the stupidest things I've ever seen! An entire song and video about gold Rolexes. SMH

Here's hoping Metro tracks them down quickly. With as many cameras as there are in the area, I'd think the odds are decent.

if your in a tight bind, and family has no food, people will just about do anything.
Yes, certainly illegal and not justfied and I do hope they get to justice...
but in that situation, life and safety more important

Incredible but reaction was appropriate. You don't want a shootout in a mall over some lousy watches.

ROLEX robbery at Caesars Palace. Inside the Forum Shops

The shops at a casino have about the same security as a mall - that's why they are usually in an annex to the main building.

I'm sorry to hear about these incidents - the fences who monetize the stolen watches are where we might choke off the incentive.

Pretty decent pictures of 5 black early 20's males. Took the back door to the service hallway and jumped into the cars.

2 possible cars caught on video

Probably back in California by now.

Or, you know, could be the decades of advertising by Rolex hammering home that Rolexes are very valuable and are an aspirational good.

This still has to be one of the most brazen mall robberies ever. My AD, also where Chris from the forum used to work:
