Saw this in the news today (sorry if this has been posted before).
100 Years Of Rolex Limited Edition BookBack
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jul 15, 2008 A new book, entitled "1908-2008: 100 Years Of Rolex" has been released, in commemoration of the centenary of the Rolex watch company. Offered in a worldwide limited edition of 4,000 copies, this lavishly illustrated 320-page volume covers a number of topics and trivia which are of great interest to dedicated collectors and Rolex fans in general. Among the many points of interest include sections that discuss the origin of the Oyster Perpetual "Milgauss", the history of legendary Rolex watches such the Submariner, Daytona and the GMT-Master, and the use of Rolex by James Bond and other fictional characters in film and television. Written by noted Rolex expert and collector Guido Mondani, whose world-famous Rolex collection was the subject of a recent record-setting Antiquorum auction, "1908-2008: 100 Years Of Rolex" also offers significant insight into the minutiae which is critical in defining the value of various Rolex timepieces. The price of the new Rolex book is set at 512 Swiss Francs/320 Euros, and it is available in both English and Italian language versions. |

Does anyone have a link to a review or personal insights on this pub? Expensive, but if it's a comprehensive work with great pics it would be worth it.

Thanks for the heads up! Such a coffee table volume should be in the hands of all of us. Rolex SA should be pleased with all this unsolicited free advertising and reward us die-hards with a free copy
