Very nice, I imagine she will be very pleased! Now, will you be able to wait a week to give it to her?

Congratulations - that will be cherished forever and will be a great piece for her to pass down potentially.

My AD had an interesting idea for the "pass down" Rolexes. He said that a tradition in his family was to engrave the name of the recepient. He received his Gold Day Date from his Dad. So, his Dad's name is first and then his. He will pass it to his son and when he does - he plans to have his son's name added. I thought that was a really neat tradition. His Day Date is 25 years old and looks beautiful. He took it off to show me the engraving.

Happy Wedding - enjoy this time with family and friends and with your bride to be.

Best Wishes,

That's a stunner. You are really setting the bar high. It's gonna be hard to top that down the road.

It will be the pre-wedding gift... I'll have her sister, the Maid of Honor, bring it with a card to her the morning of the wedding day when she's getting ready...

Very very nice watch! She'll love it - it attracts a lot of attraction with the fluted bezel and the diamond dial.
P.S. do you recommend this ebay seller?

Thanks! And yes, I recommend u$aveontime very highly. His name is Joel, he was very helpful with all my questions that i have been pestering him with for weeks. This was my first purchase from him and I was comfortable enough after speaking with him on the phone to do the transaction via wire transfer... His item was exactly as described, and he was able to get me exactly what I wanted at the best price I could find... Plus, can't beat this for a new watch with an M serial number:

Excellent idea...but one thought. I suspect you'd love her to wear it during the wedding and celebrations...do you know if it sized for her?

i measured her old watch and its about the same size... I'm sure she won't wear it for the wedding itself, so i'm not too worried about that... We should be able to find somewhere local to size it the day after the wedding before we leave for the honeymoon (if it does need to be adjusted)...
