2 Lines vs 4 Lines? Not the Dial!

I have been lurking around sales sections lately and realized there are 2 different warranty cards following the 2013 overhaul.

2 lines of information (Serial and model number)

4 lines of information (Serial and model number, bracelet and dial color)

I was not able to catch a pattern since there are examples with both red and green tags. So obviously this does not have anything to do with the newly introduced 5 year warranty system.
2016 Basel models seems to be coming with 4 lines version.

So my questions are;

Why are there 2 different cards?
Does this have anything to do with the production year of the watch?
Since all the new releases are coming with 4 line cards, is the time of the switch between cards known?

Cheers.
