Rubber B M107 for DSSD on the SD4000 - possible?
i have a Rubber B M107 made for the DSSD which has a 21mm lug - do you think I can squeeze it into a SD4000 20ml lug safely or shave it slightly? I believe the Rubber Bs are micro calibrated to fit specifically onto the watch they are intended for (so they say), but is there a difference in the positioning of the lug holes between the DSSD and the SD besides the lug width? Shouldn't it fit with a squeeze?

They make one specifically for the SD4000. Wouldn't it be easier to just get one of those?

I'd expect it to not work. Not only (as you mentioned) is the size of 21mm to large, the shape of the band at the case connection is made to suite the intended watch. Not only would the shape be wrong, I would have to think the springboard holes wouldn't fit/line up optimally either....
Rather than try to modify, I think you'd be better to buy the right band, then you have the perfect fit!

Yes, good advice guys. I'll look at moving it on and use the funds towards getting the correct one. Thanks.

Keep in mind the rubber b designed for the 116600 requires aftermarket spring bars, which are provided by rubber b free of charge when you order. They seem high quality and rubber b states they are swiss made of oem quality. I'd still prefer a design that uses my oem bars but I digress....
