AP ROO Bracelet and Case comfort

So I'm finally going to do it. Probably sending money today.

Im pulling a trigger on a AP ROO on a bracelet (42mm). I have a 6.5" wrist. My biggest concern is comfort.

I own a 44mm PAM 359 with a 50s case, its hard for me to wear due to its very uncomfortable imo. Does the AP ROO wear similarly to that PAM i don't want to buy such a big watch and end up hating it.

I know a 39mm option is out there for AP but not really into that right now. Im just focused on the AP ROO 42mm at the moment.

Any info on comfort of the 42mm AP ROO on a bracelet is greatly appriciated.

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer for this. Some people love it and some don't like it at all. Bracelet makes the watch pretty heavy so it may require a bit of getting used to. For me, there was no problem and I quite enjoy the bracelet every time I change from the rubber strap.

I hope this helps and good luck.

I for sure like the bracelet. I will be getting a rubber or leather strap for it as well just to change it up but does the watch slide around the arm. I hate when my watches bash the back of my wrist.

I prefer the straps on the ROOs but if you've tried on the bracelet and can handle it then go for it! Which dial?

Ive never tried on the bracelet or an AP in matter of fact. Im buying it from a broker online. Its a panda dial which i really like but my girlfriend thinks is ugly.

When you say handle the bracelet you mean its weight? Or comfort? Do you think my wrist size will be an issue?

I love the look of my black themes on bracelet but it's definitely not as comfortable as the rubber strap or horned back. But having the bracelet is a nice option in terms of giving the ROO a variety of looks.

What size wrist do you have? Are there half links on a ROO bracelet?

The ROO is a great one. My wrist is a little larger than yours at 7.5" and I've felt no issue when going on extended test drives.

I'm interested in seeing it on IG when you post it, Brandon

I can't wait. Im just very worried about comfort. My wrist is smaller in some sense and i noticed that the 44mm size is just to big for comfort and not sure how the ROO 42mm feels.

I know i love the watch. I love the dial and look. Literally just comes down to comfort.

No option to go try it on somewhere before plunking down the coin to buy it?

Went to an AD last week. To try some on. It's hard to gauge comfort at an AD as the watch isn't sized for my wrist as well as I don't have it on long enough for me to actually feel the comfort. I'm sure lots of people with 6.5" wrist wear this watch but I don't want to dred wearing it if it's uncomfortable for my wrist size.

From your original post, it seems as though your concern was the comfort of 42mm ROO on bracelet. But your subsequent posts give the impression that you are worried about the size of 42mm ROO (regardless of what's attached to it as strap). Can you clarify?

I guess now its both. I don't think the case size is the problem. I want to know more if the bracelet is comfortable enough to hold the watch in place with all its heft. I don't like my watches to slide much. Does the ROO bracelet have half links or micro adjustments to make a prefect fit.

Not versed on the bracelet, but I have 6.5 wrists and have been wearing my 42mm very comfortably on leather. I would say more comfortably than my DSSD. THE DSSD definitely moves around more, I keep my rolexes where I can slip the front of my pinky finger thru the bracelet.

There is a 1.5 link that you can purchase. There is no micro-adjustment which is a real deficiency.
At least on my wrist, the bracelet is comfortable but it does move around (slide). I don't see how you can avoid this without making the bracelet tight/snug on your wrist which may become an issue on its own.
Since you said you will be purchasing rubber or leather as well, I recommend you pull the trigger and get it. If it turns out that you don't like the bracelet but like the watch on rubber/leather, you can always sell the bracelet.

I've just ordered the bracelet for my ROO panda, it should be with me in the next few days.

Panda dial is my fave 42, I think it looks best on black hornback to pop the subdials. If you've never had the bracelet on I would buy on strap first and then buy a bracelet after you know for sure, as it then becomes a very thick watch and most people choose a strap on it as opposed to the exact reverse on the ROs.

I'm in the bank right now for the wire transfer so I guess unless someone says anything wild enough to stop this. I think it's a go and I'll just have to tell everyone in here after a week if the comfort level is good or bad.

By the way people don't let me buy anymore watches. I'm going to end up in a van down by the river with an amazing watch collection.

Between 7" on a frigid day to 7.25" on a hot and humid one.

As another 6.5 here, I appreciate you taking the hit for all of us. I've considered a bracelet for my Diver, but I have the same concerns that you did. Looking forward to your review!

I feel like Christopher Columbus going on in uncharted territory with this small wrist ROO bracelet thing. I will for sure do a review as many of you are showing interest.
