I'm Stunned - Rolex Newbie

Have had my SS Datejust for just a couple of days. First of all it's beautiful; two-tone silver tuxedo dial, oyster bracelet, roulette date dial. Super comfortable. Super gorgeous.

Am just blown away that this watch has been dead on the atomic clock for the past three days of constant wear. Not a second off.

I own a couple of Baume & Merciers, couple of Omegas (late 60s Constellation and a 70s Speedy Moon Watch). But, now I "get" why a rolex is A Rolex.

Holy cow!

Although Rolexes are great precision time pieces, the majority I believe are not as accurate as yours. Most will gain/lose a second or two (or more) per day. You're one of the lucky ones with this level of accuracy. My one month old SS Submariner gained 3.5 seconds in the last 3 days. Pretty good I guess :-)
