I wouldn't mess with it. Any scratches and scuffs are just proof you enjoy wearing your watch

After some time and scratches you will be fine and forget you ever wanted it blushed

I'm going to ignore all of the PCL comments and just congratulate you on a gorgeous new watch. I love that RG.

Big difference between altering a SS bracelet vs. a chunk of solid gold.

You got to be kidding

When you wear your PCL bracelet it will give a nice patina or scratches as you prefer over time. Than all of a sudden it's time for a service ...
imagine the joy you feel after receiving a brand new watch again

Wear and enjoy

You're the only one that will notice the scratches - enjoy the watch.

I was referring to the cost of what you are altering. Im ok w/ altering a ~2k SS bracelet. But altering a PM bracelet is too rich for my blood.

Personally, I have no interest in modifying a watch aftermarket. Some watches offer the ability to switch out straps and such, but that would be it.

Maybe practice on a cheaper watch. I ordered an invicta and brushed the heck out of it. Looks OK but not as good as a pro.

Chaps

This is nothing more than personal taste.

I have a Daytona Zenith 16520 that has PCLs which in my opinion makes it look cheap and trashy to the point I feel embarrassed wearing it.

When I return to the UK I am going to get it brushed 100%.

It can always be converted back to shiney if ever it is sold on but I intend to keep it until I meet my maker, so it's no big deal.

Regards

Mick

Your watch, your decision! If it bothers you just get a watchmen to brush it for you!

Anyone brushed their whole bracelet????Any pictures???

My friend, I feel your pain believe me....but your pain will be much greater if you do this. First of all were talking about gold, it will be very difficult to give it an even identical look unless you do the entire bracelet...I'm sure you wouldn't like to touch anything that doesn't need touching!

Second, you will learn to live and love it after sometime...believe me! Keep it pure, original, and and embrace it! Its your watch Ofcourse, but I think you will regret it (jmho). As long as you don't put one of those cheap fake ceramic bezels on your good ;)

Thank you for your insight bro but I was thinking of doing that. What do you think. It is not cheap and fake though. The bezel is the original Rolex one from 116515.
