Definitely bring it in. Personally I would not immediately resort to writing. But I would definitely mention that you have researched the issue and discussed it with fellow forum members. I also think its a QA issue. For the quality which they so advertise and are proud of, quality they deem even better than the Geneva seal, this is not acceptable.

I think in the future I may be inclined to simply forward the hands 24 hours rather than push my Ocho button...thanks for the idea Mike.

Finally I got this problem with my 5167R. While I set the time to midnight, the date stuck. When it reached 2:34 in the morning the date still stuck, I decided to push the crown to the winding Position, the date changed completely in the date window. Since then whatever I do, the date always change at 2:34 in the morning. I just bought this watch around May 2016, rarely worn. A little bit pain and disappoint.

The HSWA watchmaker I discussed this with a couple years ago said their part tolerances were too narrow which caused the issue. Mine hasn't had it again since they fixed it.

I sent it fix this afternoon at patek phillipe service center in Bangkok. Of course under warranty.
