And only if you had calls lasting a relatively short period of time... (nothing over 30min)

I just get a real Breitling feel out of this...which uh, is good for Breitling, less so for Patek...but will be cool to see in the metal regardless.

The cool thing is we have another watch that evokes emotional response from PP. of the 28 watches launched at Basel only this one seems to be discussed snd it even has a CHF 2.2 MIO competitor which is barely whispered over!! The WT's everyone couldnt wait for seemed to be a whimper and the new 20 year AC which I think look quite good with the Breguet lettering hardly warranted a thought! Maybe over the next few weeks more will be spoken about the other watches but this seemed to have captured bulk of air time

I, personally, LOVE this, even the blue color ---- BUT WR only 30m = deal breaker.
This would make an awesome travel piece BUT no pool, no ocean, no shower....no deal. Sigh..... |

It's got a blue croc strap, would you swim or shower with that? I don't really like the watch but WR isn't the reason.

Strap is an easy change....and crocodiles like water more than cows - lol
I think this piece would look awesome on a blue rubber strap but I think the blue would be difficult to match. Just my 2 cents as for all the greatness that Patek is, aside from Natulius and Aquanaut, WR isn't their strength. And for the record, I am a one watch guy when I travel. |

Bizarre complication, at least the case size is correct.

When do you expect to have yours? Do you know if 5230 is hitting London soon? I will be in London in two weeks and really would like to see a real piece. Btw, I sent an email through patek.com 10 days ago asking date of availability at the retailers and still got no response. So, if u don't know it is ok as apparently Patek does not know either. |
