1970 Rolex Red Submariner 1680

For sale is a very nice Red Submariner head ref. 1680 dated 1970 with serial # 2,9xx,xxx, correct fat font and slightly faded bezel and correct date disk. Pearl intact with matching patina. Professionally yet lightly polished with super crisp edges. I would consider case 8 out of 10. Dial is stunning showing gentile ageing with light cream suntan which is even over the dial. Mark IV dial which is earliest Feet First version, open 6 with Red printed over White. Hands are few shades lighter and hour hand previously relumed but does not glow for long. At very bottom is very small nick to paint but hard to see without magnification. Offered with beautiful Hodinkee aged brown strap. Running to spec.
