What pen did you use today?
My new Platinum Briar #3776!
Love a lovely nail writer at times!!! Warm in the hand and simply lays down ink as expected. And gorgeous as well!

My new retro51 came in as well as my caran d'ache gold bar so did a little writing with both.

Pulled the Visconti Michelangelo out for a run today. I haven't written with it in well over a month.

Two today, a Pilot Custom 74 and a Sailor 1911s Akajiku two tone red body and black cap. That pattern is called "Red Stem" and is meant to look like the stem of a variety of Polygonatum odoratum (a plant related to Lilly of the Valley).

Using my Lamy LX for the first time at work. The 14kt gold nib is writing well. I mixed up a blend of bookbinders red belly snake black and some diamine golden sands. I was hoping for a deep black with gold but it's sort of a dark gray with a small amount of gold sparkle. Need to work on the recipe a little.

I was using my Pilot Custom Heritage. It writes so smoothly with a Medium NIB.

No problem Richard. I'll try to get to it tomorrow. It's not going to be very exciting at the moment but I'm hoping for big things once I get it sorted.

Here you go. It's not too inspiring with this mix. I'm going to try a very small amount of black and mostly golden sands on the next run. The nib is great though!!

Piccolo Writer, ao-tameruni, XBroad nib, tsuyu-kusa ink. I'm very pleased with this pen. The only think I might have done different is choosing a Broad nib with stub modification. But I like it as it is because it really shows off the color of the ink, my favorite blue ink.

I went back to the Omas Paragon Ludovico Einaudi signature today. I have not used it in several weeks due to the new retro51 tornado and the caran d'ache goldbar incomings. I had an affair with a couple Visconti's in there someplace as well. What an awesome pen this Omas is! It still has not given me any problems whatsoever. The broad nib writes like a more rounded stub. It impresses me more and more every time I write with it. This one is an absolute keeper. I don't think I could ever flip her!

That looks like a well lubricated ink regardless of its lack of "inspiration". Still, I do like it! Thanks again!

It puts down a very nice wet line for sure. Noticeably wetter than a typical medium I would say. The bookbinders by itself is a wet writer but highly saturated. My montegrappa emblema before heat setting caked the feed an seized up the whole operation. It's a finicky ink by itself. I had the same issues with the Visconti millionaire. A little Diamine made it a more rounded ink. After I burn through this fill, it's going quick, I'll add mostly Diamine and touch it up with some bookbinders. I'll be sure to report back.

I wish my Emblema had a stub nib! The medium is a nice nib but a stub would be perfect! Your writing sample looks great. I still need to post a review of mine. Hopefully soon.

Used the recent Omas 360 I picked up late last year. This is an interesting pen to get used to. The large triangulated section sometimes doesn't work so well with my writing angle.

This Platinum again! Just can't keep my hands off of it!
Warm, wet, and lays down a perfect line with Akkerman Moss ink!

I used my new Pilot Prera green accented demonstrator. It is a smaller sized pen and has a calligraphy medium nib. About a 1.1 or 1.3 I believe. Very nice writer for under $40.00.

Yesterday and today I used a green Pelikan 600, Fine nib. Today I received a perfectly new Waterman Bicentennary Le Man 100 ballpoint. One just like it, new, Bicentennary fountain pen is on the way. Vive la France...!!! I'll try to post pictures tomorrow.

Continuation from thank you card Wednesday. I brought the Monteverde Invincia to work with me. There was some light that finally made it through the windows so I was able to get a shot that showed off the carbon fiber
