PVD Doxa - yummy!
Just stumbled across the new PVD Sharkhunter, and I think it looks great - even though I'm not sure how well it would stand up to a decent scuff or ding (my brother had a PVD Tag back in the 80's, peeled off after 5 years like a cheap paint job)
I really don't know much about Doxa, and I've never seen one 'in real life' - I'm on the lookout for a contrasting Dive watch to wear when my Sub seems a little too 'obvious' or flashy - could this be the one? - would really appreciate opinions, etc |

The Doxa dive watch is a beautiful tool watch. Robust and a true diver's watch. THey also invented the helium escape valve.
Can't go wrong with a Doxa Sharkhunter. Great value for the money. |

Some watches use a metal paint coating,But DOXA uses wear resistant (Titanium-Aluminium-Carbon-Nitrite) coating with a hardness of more than 2000HV,this process gives excellent scratch resistant. But like any PVD product amost impossible to polish out the odd ding, not like you can with S.Steel.But Doxa IMO are up there with the best when it comes to PVD coatings.
