Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner in steel

5513 reference

1.34 mil serial number circa early 1966 production

Excellent vintage condition case without major dings or dents. Serial and reference numbers are intact and visible. Original twin-lock crown.

Dial is matte, Meters First. This is the earliest serial number with matte dial I have had, with next being a 1.40 mil serial number. The hands are tritium with light shade of color. There is even spotting on dial.

The caseback is original. Stamped 5513 and I.66 inside.

Bezel insert is original and correct "long 5" with bluish-gray hue of aging.

Bracelet is a Rolex 7206 with 80 end-links and stamped '69 date code on calsp.

No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch runs and winds smoothly.
