Do it. I've had the black dial for a few months now and never tire looking at it. It's simply gorgeous. I'd be interested in seeing which one gets more wrist time vs the white...I think while the white might have a bit more "pop", the black is the more elegant of the two.

And each day that I'd pass on them, and as those days turned into months, I started to feel more and more pressure to want to wear them. And I never did.

So I decided to take action and get those lesser Rolexes out of my life, use the funds towards kicking that frustrating AD waitlist to the curb too. And within a week I had my Daytona C and now there's nothing in that watch box begging for wrist time it will never see. Black dial, SS, Oyster, that's my combination. I know some will say that I "need" a white dial Rolex, but their offerings right now are very limited, it's an oversized DJ or an oversized Explorer II, neither suit me. So that's why I can see a point in the future where I'll add a second 500C just for a color change, like what you're considering now.
Man Ive done that with so many watches!! The Hulk and Kermit were the two I did that the most with. Finally I just decided to let em go when I really lost the desire to wear them. Oh well....

You tried both the Hulk and Kermit and didn't like either one? Haven't heard that one before. You really have been through a lot of watches.

Hey Rick! For me the two watches wear completely different. I can wear my black dial with a suit, where the white dial might look out of place. Yet the white dial can be worn casually with shorts and flip-flops! Both of mine get equal wrist-time, just depending on the occasion. I actually don't like one better than the other.

Btw...I'm the last guy to ask if there is such thing as enough Daytonas...I want them all!

Hang on a second. You're contemplating owning 2 identical Ceramic Daytona, just different colour dials....

In my opinion that would be absolutely incredible

If you are afraid of them being too similar, how about the white gold Daytona with the blue dial?

Honestly all daytonas are incredible. My two favorites still are the rose gold black dial and the new white gold blue dial. I lied add the platona in as well. What I'm trying to say is all daytonas are stunning!
