Would you Trade a SDK4 for a SD43?
Would you trade a SDK4 with 2,500$ for a new SD43 ?

No way....one is on its way to be readily available with discounts and another has plenty of room for appreciation....but taking value out, if the sd4k doesn't work for you because you got huge wrists and you must have the sd43 now....that's not a bad play.

I'd rather have the smaller non-cyclops version.

Like others depends on how I feel about the sd4k if it got little wrist time due to size, flip away. If not then wouldn't do it

I would never do it. Even if you have larger wrists, 40mm works on everyone and the SD4K is the last of its kind. You're being seduced by the latest and greatest. Keep the SD4K and watch it appreciate. Save up and buy the SD43 when they can be had at a discount next year.

No because 40mm is my limit and I prefer the SD without cyclops.

If the SDK4 is not your perfect watch (as you said before) anymore, go for the SD43 trade.

As some others have said, be sure that you try it on and actually prefer it.

Yes. Of course. Brand new sd4k is about 9200. 9200+2500= 11,700 for the new sd43. Sd43 on the grey market are going for about 15k. So there is 4300 in arbitrage on this trade.

There is a reason Rolex discontinued it so quickly, wasn't popular and didn't sell. Now that its discontinued I think many believe they will buy one and it will one day be their retirement....
