quick DJ question

As you may remember, I asked you all for some advice on a Rolex a couple weeks ago. Made my first purchase while vacationing in FL, got a nice deal and no tax as I shipped it back to Boston.

I bought a DJ, oyster bracelet, white face with roman numerals. My question is whether there is a difference between the Z serial model and the M model? They didn't have the watch at the store I bought from so they had to get it shipped there and I haven't seen it. The AD called and told me that it was in and it was a Z. I told her to get me an M - I thought that the M had some updates - solid end links, polished lugs, hidden clasp. My AD told me the Z had the same updates. They ended up getting the M for me from another store - just will take me an extra day or two to get the watch in hand now.

So, are the M and the Z the same watch or are there differences? Doesn't really matter at this point b/c I got the watch I wanted, but just wondering if I was right in demanding the M.

Thanks as always and I'll get a few pics up as soon as I get the watch in hand.
