The other option is to have your AD source you a half link from a Submariner. I believe this will fit the DJ41 oyster.

Congrats again Paul
It will, Brian. But, he will need to either polish the center link or perhaps if it's installed close enough to the clasp it will be hidden unless the EZ link is extended...I did this on a YM2.

Still think the micro adjustment in the clasp is the key to this one, though.

Personally I don't think its a very good design. Yes it is easy to use but not very practical in use.

I need the facility to let out or take in the bracelet length on my YM2 quickly and without tools. I wear it quite snug in most conditions so it doesn't move around on the wrist, which looks silly and is annoying. But the trouble is if I get hot my wrist swells and it becomes very uncomfortable, so I then let it out on the Easy link - but the circa 5mm expansion is too much and the watch is too loose, flopping around.

Why Rolex couldn't put a version of the glide lock on I don't understand. It wouldn't need the amount of travel the DSSD has, perhaps three or four notches at 2.5mm each. In my opinion a poor design choice.

I don't use the easylink often on my GMT. The bracelet is sized for comfort when it's hot. When I'm indoors it doesn't seem to get lose enough to slide around or drop below my wrist bone. In winter, I move the micro-adjustment in one notch. I find the easy link makes it too tight if I use this method. Part of the reason is that the long blade on the clasp overlaps the 3rd link from the clasp on the 12 o'clock side and doesn't allow the bracelet to conform to my wrist.

Good to know Larry

I agree sounds like he just needs to experiment with the m/a.

I wish Rolex standardized and sold half links with all models. I wish alot

I like a fairly tight fit and was lucky that i got the perfect fit just having a link
removed [ 7in wrist] and only time i have used the easylink is when i am sunbathing or on holiday but its a great thing to have and so simple to use,,,,,jay

On the three watches I have with EasyLink, it's open, and it stays that way all the time.

Depending on whether or not you have a jubilee or an oyster bracelet, you may want to try ordering a half link (oyster) or a 1.5 link (jubilee).

I've noticed the half links and the distance between micro adjustments on my easylink clasp (39mm Explorer) are slightly different in length. A half link and a different micro adjustment setting might be your fix!

Not to much Paul. Only if it's really humid out. I'm lucky mine fits perfect with it closed.
