Rolex Explorer MK1 1960 /70's Views
Im currently considering a Rolex Explorer MK1 (No Date) from around the 1960-70's, (I currently own a 5513) id appreciate any comments reviews on this model and the date range I'm aiming my search, were the later MK1's a better build quality, I'm also interested to learn about the case sizes and if there waterproof, all and any info greatly appreciated. The Rolex Explorer is an Oyster Perpetual, so of course, it's waterproof, if the seals are in good shape.
Beyond that, I really can't comment.

A fifty year old watch is seldom waterproof. Pitting of the case is most likely an issue.
