I wonder if I could trade my brand new SS Daytona ceramic (white face) unworn, straight up for a 116528? (a 116528 with gold band) Same color as yours - black face, gold sub dials? Probably would have to trade with an individual, not a dealer.

This is your best "investment". I've seen many great examples in the sub $20k range in the last year or so. If you can get the full set even better. Mint steel 16520's have shot through the roof in the last few years while pm pieces have been comparatively flat. While watches might not be the. Eat investment vehicle, I'm pretty confident you'll see pretty solid returns on zenith models over the next 10 years.

I will trade my 116520 Daytona stainless steel with white dial (full set and I bought new in 2011) for a 116528 gold like you have. I have a new ceramic white dial SS Daytona and just want to have fun with some different Daytonas - know what I mean? I would like to trade with another Rolex enthusiast. Send a private message if interested or know of something.
