Regulating a Rolex
My BLNR is gaining nine seconds a day. Before someone comes along and says that my watch is incredibly accurate to be gaining at such consistency, I'm not in the least bit interested; I want it running within COSC limits, just like it's supposed to be.
Lucky me, RSC is a short trip away so getting the watch there for regulating is no biggie. What I want to know is, how long does it take (approximately) to physically do the job? Ok, I know much will depend not their workload, etc. but am I looking at them having the watch for a matter of days or weeks?

While i have no idea what they will actually do, it may depend on what you request.
A simple regulation should be fairly easy and they can test the accuracy on a timing machine but if you are adamant about COSC limits the actual COSC testing is fifteen days, in five positions, at three different temperatures. So if thats what you ask for i am assuming they will do that as that is the only way to certify it to that standard. In that case you will be talking weeks. |

I sent my Sub in when it was 2 months old. It was running a bit slow. They supposedly did a full service and it took 3 weeks to get it back. I did send it through my AD though.

IIRC Vanessa wrote on a post here that she takes 4-5 days to check and recheck the regulation for accuracy after a service.

Can't tell about Singapore service centre but Abu Dhabi regulated mt Sub in 48 hrs. I only expect that Orchard Branch should be similar.
