Imagine if I posted a pic of my TAG-Heuer or my wife's Cartier?

If you prefer the dial and bracelet then sure, otherwise not much in it really.

Maybe Lady Gaga is a good choice then, she's a stand alone and incomparable to any other.

Was the blue eta made in as small a number as the black?

I was looking for a black on bracelet but can't find any.

I posted this on a Rolex group on Facebook today. I post pics of my watches often on there and get a pile of positive comments and likes. I don't care who likes or dislikes my posts I just like to share the pics I take when I feel like I caught the lighting just right or got a nice angle. It's just part of my love of watches.

Today however my post started a narcissistic temper tantrum from another member who felt that a Tudor doesn't belong in the same world as a Rolex. Mr. "I'm better than every one else here" states that "cheep ass Tudors" shouldn't be posted and continued on various ranting arguements with other members about how Tudor is a cheep fake and will never be a Rolex, has never been close to a Rolex etc,etc...

Now people can be whoever they want to be but I find this comical. I appreciate the real WIS folks on groups like this and those who can appreciate the link between the two brands. I happen to own a number of Rolexes, and a few Tudors. And lately, guess what, I'm enjoying my Tudor black bay to its fullest.

So what should I do tomorrow.... I think I'll post another Tudor. Haha.

Beautiful picture of a beautiful watch!

No the blue and red ETA were made for years in large numbers and quite plentiful. Finding a black is almost impossible and when they are listed sellers are asking for a premium and they sell in seconds. I know because I've been trying for months to buy one.

Oh well, I will keep searching for a black eta on bracelet, it does look good on distressed leather though :)

The perpetulant child can moan all he wants. The guy clearly has no class and respect for the quality and design of watches and is more interested in brand.

Like you, I adore mine

If anything, this forum has made me a Tudor fan... It's the under-cover-awesome watch. Wallet permitting, I will be adding a Tudor at some point in the future...maybe after a second or third Rolex!

A great watch and a brand that comes with a rich history, unfortunately the un-educated just look at price tags

Yes he is. But he's not entitled to move beyond that, which he quite obviously did.

I realized when you're a true WIS you like watches at all price points and for different reasons. Tudor is a great piece.

I love my Rolex... but I wear my Hamilton and Tag with as much happiness. Heck I even wear my timex weekender on a nato and smile.

The guys who usually chime in the Tudor bashing seem to be watch newbies with really small, if any, collection, and little knowledge about watches. You know the type around here, young guy with a BLNR he's making payments on!

Enjoy your BB, I love mine! I think the black bezel ETA BB's will be collectible one day, as they weren't around for very long.

Dumbasses are everywhere. Equates everything to how much it cost. No concept of value for money. Would buy a bag of dog poop if it was pricey and marketed as "rare preserved fecal material from the extinct mumbleywufferr"

Keep hunting, I imagine they will be tougher to find nowadays, maybe the price has or soon will move above the inhouse.
