I'd have a hard time justifying $2k+ just for half the bezel to be purple. Luckily I prefer my LN with its brushed bracelet

I'm having a hard time too. My heart says yes and my brain says no! It's debatable which will win in the end though. I keep rationalizing with it's not how much you spend but how much it's worth. And the BLNR seems to hold value much stronger than the LN. So in that light the 2k could actually be well spent.

I've found the brain has very little to do with this hobby and you should always go with your heart if you want to be happy. When you do you can almost always find a reason to justify it ;)

Two pieces of advice:
1) its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission
2) they dont mind your watch purchases as much when you get them handbag/earrings/etc at the same time

Flipping GMT LN for BLNR

Well I have the BLNR on hold at my AD. They're offering it to me for a VERY fair price. I have until Tuesday to be 100% sure but I think I'm going to go through with the flip.

As much as I appreciate the LN....I think the BLNR is another level...albeti the slightest change with the insert and hand....the watch is just hotness and clearly a destined classic with the way it's proven itself since 2013 Basel. I don't think you'll be sorry if you (like most of the rest of us) like the look.

Until you scratch that BLNR itch, you'll never be satisfied, no matter how people convince you otherwise in this thread. So get the BLNR and if you don't like it, flip it and get the LN back.

What I can tell you from my own experience is this: if you do go ahead with the flip and end up regretting, you'll lose very little money should you come to flip the BLNR, if any. Also, it'll be easier to find another LN than a BLNR and you're more likely to pick up the LN for a discount; a discount on a BLNR is very unlikely.

Very good point. And I'm getting a nice discount on a brand new BLNR from an AD. And I have lined up a fair sale price to s trusted seller. I think I'm able to get in to the BLNR for a decent margin.

But I'll have to post an incoming pic in your BLNR haters thread lol!

This answers the question for me.
If I already had the LN I wouldn't stump up that much cash just for a different bezel and GMT hand. It's a different story if it was a choice between adding either, I'd go BLNR all day long.

I sold my LN for the BLNR. Loved the BLNR. Beautiful watch.

I was then bitten by the PM bug. First came the 116619, then the BLNR was flipped for the BLRO.

I owned my LN for 4 years. I owned the BLNR for less than a year. I'm pretty sure the BLRO is the keeper.
